Nebraska football has hit a breaking point
Nebraska football has hit a breaking point.
After starting the season 5-0, the Huskers have now lost three straight games, including a frustrating 17-10 loss to Washington at Memorial Stadium. And I'm tired of hearing about how close Nebraska is to turning the corner.
YEAR FOUR. SAME RESULTS.
In this episode of RAW EMOTIONS, I'm letting the frustration fly. Nebraska continues to find ways to lose games it should win, the offense has become almost impossible to defend, and Matt Rhule has some serious questions to answer.
🔴 Just 41 offensive points over the last three games
🔴 Only 5 offensive touchdowns during that stretch
🔴 A miserable 13.7 points per game
🔴 Just 3 fourth-quarter points in three games
🔴 Three straight losses after entering the fourth quarter with the lead
And against Washington? Nebraska outgained the Huskies 387-267, held them to just 32 rushing yards, and STILL LOST.
