Over the last three weekends we’ve seen multiple players change their visit schedule by changing dates, canceling a visit or electing to visit at the last minute. Well, the movement continues. Wide receiver Kalil Taylor who was once scheduled for an official visit and then canceled, has rescheduled and will be on campus Friday June 19. Taylor was due to visit Alabama but decided he’d rather visit Nebraska.

If Taylor were to commit, he’d be the third highest ranked recruit in this cycle behind Trae Taylor and Tory Pittman. As a wide receiver he is currently ranked No. 87 nationally, 15th at his position, and No.4 in the state of Pennsylvania. The 5’11”, 190-pound 4-Star has been a top target for coach Daikiel Shorts and Nebraska from the start.

Penn State is favored to land Taylor and to put things in perspective, he’s visited Penn State over 15 times. The Nebraska staff will have work to do with this being only his fourth visit to Lincoln.

Taylor is seen as a big play receiver averaging 17.3 yards per reception in his junior season and 16 touchdowns. He also is an elite return game specialist, posting 770 total return yards, 1 kickoff return touchdown and 1 punt return touchdown.

Although his commitment is a long shot, Nebraska would love to add him to the 2027 class with Tay Ellis and Justyn Lindsay.

Nebraska is scheduled for 8 visitors this weekend with all but two being current Husker commits. The fact that QB Trae Taylor, WR Tay Ellis, and RB Amir Brown are three of those players only helps with Taylor’s visit.

Besides Kalil Taylor, tight end Seager Milholen will be in Lincoln as well. The 2027 class currently stands at 18 commits.
