No. 1-ranked Nebraska continued its dominant season Thursday night, sweeping No. 15 Indiana 25-15, 25-19, 25-19 in front of a sold-out crowd at Wilkinson Hall. The Huskers improved to 16-0 overall and 5-0 in Big Ten play, extending their regular-season win streak to 47 matches. Nebraska also pushed its road and neutral-site win streak to 23, tying for the 11th-longest in NCAA history and the longest active streak nationally since 2011.

Nebraska hit .379 as a team while holding the Hoosiers to a .282 attacking percentage. The Huskers held edges in kills (46-34), digs (36-20), and blocks (7-6). Outside hitters led the Nebraska attack. Harper Murray paced the team with 11 kills on .364 hitting, adding seven digs and two blocks. Nebraska controlled the match from the start. In the opening set, the Huskers scored the first three points and jumped to an 8-2 lead that forced an early Indiana timeout. Sigler finished with five kills in the frame, including back-to-back terminations. Nebraska closed the set with three consecutive points for the 25-15 win.

The second set followed a similar pattern. Service runs from Mauch and others helped Nebraska build early advantages. After Indiana closed gaps, Murray’s kill secured set point at 24-18 before she finished the 25-19 victory.

Indiana showed more resistance in the third set, briefly leading early and tying the score at 12-12 and 15-15. Mauch’s back-to-back aces and Murray’s serving runs helped Nebraska pull away. Ogbechie and Kenna Cogill contributed key block assists as the Huskers closed with three straight points for the 25-19 final set and the sweep.

Nebraska returns home for a top-10 matchup against No. 7 Wisconsin on Saturday, Oct. 10, at John Cook Arena in the Bob Devaney Sports Center. First serve is set for 6 p.m. on FOX.
